On Tuesday, July 28, at approximately 1:00 am, STA was burglarized. Parts of the school sustained damage and approximately 100 laptops were stolen. This is devastating to our school as these laptops are used and shared by all STA students for computer projects, research and as a tool to further their education.
We are also in the midst of purchasing equipment in preparation of one day reopening our school. Supplies and equipment such as sanitizing wipes, fans, sanitation stations, desk partitions et cetera are needed to ensure school can be reopened safely.
Due to the cost of these two devastating events, we are requesting a minimum donation of $10 to help defray the costs. All funds go directly toward both of these causes and your donation is tax deductible.
With your support, and the support from friends, family, alumni and the community, we can meet our goal of raising $65,000.
